I like going there. Food is good, drinks are good and so is the service. You can go there for lunch or dinner or just for drinks. It's a little loud when soccer is on. It's also fairly central yet not terribly pricy (for Innsbruck)
The Sachertorte was really nice, tea and hot chocolate were average. Obviously it's a pricey cafe because it serves the original cake. The environment and the furniture were also really nice.
We came for the Wirtshaus and absolutely loved the food and service. The chef is really an expert at ingredient combination and achieving perfect taste balance. We had the deer lasagna, the traditional meatball hinein broth, and the Tyrol trio. Everything was perfect. Also very friendly staff.
